Aloe Plant

The plants are stiff and rough, consisting mainly of a rosette of large, thick, fleshy leaves. The leaves are usually quite pointed with thorned edges. The color varies from grey to bright green. The flowers of the plants are small and tubular and are located on single or branching leafless stems. Aloe vera is also used for its medicinal properties attributed to the plant for centuries. The gel-like juice in the thick leaves can be used as a first aid for burns.
